Traditionally, rolled cinnamon is obtained from the outer brown bark of the evergreen Cinnamonum tree, which is dried in sunlight and rolled into a tubular shape, also known as “Chinese cinnamon”. For cinnamon, the homeland is Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia and China.
