Coriander is originally from the Mediterranean area and from the area of Turkey today, but it is also cultivated in Egypt, England and Sudan. It grows in areas with cold springs and reaches a height of less than half a meter.
Due to its light flavor, coriander, as a spice, is used in larger quantities than other spices. In England, it is the basic spice for aromatic cakes, usually based on autumn fruits such as apples, pears, plums and in pies or compotes.
